Last week Ajayi confirmed the news via his own Twitter account, and the club have now announced the deal.
Delighted to announce that I have officially signed for @Arsenal FC. Can’t wait to see what the next two seasons here have in store for me.

Ajayi is a Nigerian 19-year-old youth international, who spent last season on loan at non-league Dartford. He will join Carl Jenkinson at the Emirates who also graduated from the Charlton academy, but is not expected to make an immediate impact on the first team, with experienced internationals like Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny and Thomas Vermaelen standing in his way.
He is tall and powerful, and will add some steal to the Gunners Under-21 side after enjoying a successful trial period with them at the beginning of the season.
