Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom showed on pre-season duty that he very much has a future at Emirates Stadium, with three goals on the club’s Asian tour.

However, the 18 year-old needs first team football at this stage of his career, and a loan away from north London could do wonders for his development.

Akpom has already proven he knows where the goal is, and although he has received limited football in the Capital One Cup so far this season, the chance to demonstrate his acumen in front of goal week in, week out could be a boon for both player and Arsenal.
