With the latest round of Premier League action, save for Monday night’s clash between Stoke City and Newcastle United, now completed we’ve put together our best XI from a weekend that featured two huge derby matches and some absolutely stunning goals.

GK) Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur)
The Spurs ‘keeper is up there with the best around, as he showed once again with some stunning saves as his side picked up an impressive draw in the North London derby.
RB) Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)
The Serbian full back has been in incredible form for Chelsea so far this season, a trend which continued in their emphatic victory over Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
CB) Younes Kaboul (Tottenham Hotspur)
After receiving some stick during the early weeks of this season, Spurs captain Younes Kaboul was a rock at the back for Mauricio Pochettino at the Emirates Stadium.
CB) Phil Jagielka (Everton)
Everton centre back Jagielka was back in form as his side rescued a point in the Merseyside derby – largely thanks to Jagielka’s unreal injury time leveler from long range.
LB) Ryan Bertrand (Southampton)
Chelsea loanee Bertrand has impressed since joining Southampton and was very good once again, scoring his side’s opener with a rampaging run from left back.
CM) Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal)
Did his chances of cementing a permanent place in the Gunners’ team no harm at all with a performance of drive and intensity from midfield that was rewarded with the equalising goal.
CM) Willian (Chelsea)
Willian is usually more dependable than he is eye-catching, but the Brazilian was superb in his side’s victory over Aston Villa, with his movement causing chaos for Paul Lambert’s side.
CM) Mile Jedinak (Crystal Palace)
Australian international Jedinak is inspiration as captain of Crystal Palace and provided real drive during their win over Leicester City, scoring a rare goal for good measure.
SC) Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion)
Has started the season in inspired form for West Brom and scored twice as the Baggies registered their third victory in the space of a week – surely an England call-up can’t be far away?
SC) Edin Dzeko (Manchester City)
The transformation in Edin Dzeko’s all-round play since he joined Manchester City is startling, but the Bosnian can still score goals, bagging two fine strikes against Hull City.
SC) Graziano Pelle (Southampton)
Quickly establishing himself as one of the finds of the summer, Graziano Pelle scored a genuine goal of the season contender against QPR – teeing himself up for a stunning acrobatic effort.
