No. 1 Kentucky has capped off their dominant season with a 67-50 victory over Florida, and they have finished with a 31-0 record, marking their first undefeated regular season in school history.

They are looking to become the eighth team in NCAA basketball history to go undefeated in the regular season and the NCAA Tournament. The most recent team to accomplish this feat was the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers.
The Wildcats received a fight from the Gators in the first half as they led by three points at halftime, but they pulled away after tiring out the Gators in the second half.
Forward Karl-Anthony Towns, who is widely expected to be a lottery pick in the NBA Draft, led the way for the Wildcats with 13 points and nine rebounds.
Forward Trey Lyles chipped in 14 points and six rebounds for Kentucky, and the rest of the team stayed true to their successful philosophy of spreading the ball around.
The Gators finished their disappointing season with a 15-16 record, marking head coach Billy Donovan’s worst record since the 1997-98 season. This is a sharp decline from the team who reached the Final Four last season.
