7. DeAndre Yedlin – Sunderland
Dick Advocaat has some serious problems at the Stadium of Light, but signing Yedlin on loan should bring a buzz to the club. The American shone at the 2014 World Cup, and he will be hoping to remind everyone of his ability.
6. Nikica Jelavic – West Ham
Jelavic has worked with Slaven Bilic at international level, and the former Hull striker has been brought in on a two-year deal to score goals for the Hammers. It remains to be seen if he can deliver.
5. Papy Djilobodji – Chelsea
Having missed out on John Stones, Jose Mourinho has had to make do with Djilobodji. The 26-year-old isn’t a work in progress and he will be expected to make an immediate impact if his Portuguese boss gives him the chance.
4. Son Heung-min – Tottenham
Spurs weren’t able to sign Saido Berahino, and they have received criticism for not giving Harry Kane enough support this season. However, Heung-min is now the most expensive Asian player in history after his £22m move from Leverkusen, and he will be expected to produce.
