4) Alvaro Negredo (Manchester City)
Despite some good form in the middle of the season, Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo is currently on a long run without a goal, stretching back 16 games all the way to January. The summer signing from Sevilla initially looked like something of a surprise success when he managed 23 goals in his first 32 games, but he will now have to work hard to regain the trust of his fans and team-mates again after struggling in the second half of the season. With so much competition for places at City, it could be an uphill task for the Spaniard, but hopefully a year in England will help him settle to the pace of the game and find some consistency.
