The German ace is happy at Dortmund and continues to excel, but an opportunity to play in the Premier League would be a difficult one to turn down.
Reus arguably fits the bill perfectly in terms of having pace and creativity in his locker as well as scoring goals. Not quite the ‘Galactico’ in terms of being compared to some of the other names on this list, but he is certainly in the conversation.
Mario Gotze
Gotze is reportedly going to be on the move this summer, with Juventus in particular taking a close look at the Bayern ace.
It remains to be seen if he actually leaves, but he would undoubtedly be a perfect fit for what Van Gaal is looking for.
