The Reds paid £10m for the Belgian last summer following his impressive performances in both Ligue 1 and the 2014 World Cup, but allowed him to stay in France to continue his development for one more season.
The 20-year-old will move to Anfield on a permanent basis next season, and Reds fans will be hoping for a major improvement for the youngster in the Premier League.
Origi scored eight goals in 33 Ligue 1 matches, however he suffered a 20-game goal drought between October and March, according to The Guardian.
Following the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, Liverpool struggled for goals this season with new signings Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert failing to make an impact as the Reds missed out on Champions League qualification.
Brendan Rodgers’ side managed to score just 52 goals this season compared to its 101 of the 2013/14 season.
