World Cup finalist to take time on choosing next club.Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo says he is in no hurry to make a decision over his future after attracting interest from three Premier League clubs, according to the Daily Express.
The 24-year-old impressed for Argentina at this summer’s World Cup, helping the South American giants to the final, where they were narrowly beaten 1-0 in extra time by Germany.
Rojo has attracted interest from big clubs in the past, and it is thought that Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are among his main suitors this summer.
Capable of playing centre-back or left-back, Rojo would be a useful signing for any of these clubs, but the player himself is ready to return to his current club Sporting after taking a holiday following on from his World Cup efforts.
“We still do not know what my future will be,” he is quoted as saying.
“For now I intend to return to Sporting on the 30th [of July], and then we’ll see.”
Chelsea have also been linked with Rojo’s club team-mate, Portuguese youngster William Carvalho.
