Jose Mourinho hasn’t made a lot of mistakes since returning to Stamford Bridge, but Filipe Luis was one of the bigger ones. Will he get his money back for the defensive flop?
Chelsea appear set to unload left back Filipe Luis and return him to sender with a loan move to Atletico Madrid.
Transfer Mirror reported on Twitter that the 29-year-old Luis will sign with Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan this summer. Though not a complete sale, the move would allow Luis to return to the city where he became a fan favorite for four years and possibly earn his value back.

The Blues acquired Luis from Atletico Madrid last summer for a £15.8 million transfer fee. In his first and only season with Chelsea, the then-highly-touted Luis played in just 13 matches.
The former Brazilian star led Atletico Madrid to a La Liga title and Champions League runner-up finish in the 2013-14 season.
