Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli could finally be on the way out of Anfield, with Premier League new boys Watford reportedly keen on signing the enigmatic Italian.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has reportedly told the former Inter Milan, Manchester City and AC Milan man he is surplus to requirements at Liverpool, and Sky Sports Italia [via The Independent] reports he could be on his way to the Hornets.
Serie A side Sampdoria are understood to be interested in the Italy star, however, Balotelli is reportedly keen to remain in the Premier League.
Balotelli has struggled to make an impact at Anfield after arriving at the club in a £16m deal last summer, scoring just one goal in 16 Premier League appearances.
Following the signings of Christian Benteke, Danny Ings and Roberto Firmino, Balotelli has dropped even further down the pecking order at the Merseyside club and has been frozen out of the first team.
The report suggests Balotelli could become available for £7m.
