Marcos Rojo’s Manchester United career is now up in the air following a reported bust-up with Louis van Gaal.
The Argentine international has now featured for the Red Devils this season after he missed United’s pre-season tour due to passport issues.
According to The Mirror, Van Gaal was ‘livid’ with the situation and it is understood the pair have clashed yet again after the Dutchman questioned Rojo’s fitness.
Rojo joined United in a £16m deal last summer, however, the report suggests Van Gaal has been open to the prospect of the defender leaving the club.
It is understood Rojo was put forward as part of a deal to sign AS Monaco ace Anthony Martial, but with the European transfer window now closed, it seems the former Sporting Lisbon man will remain with the club until at least January.
Valencia were also reportedly interested in Rojo following the departure of Nicolas Otamendi to Manchester City.
