The Nebraska Cornhuskers barely avoided an upset at the hands of the McNeese State Cowboys and won, 31-24. They scored the game winner with 20 seconds remaining.
No. 19 Nebraska was extremely close to getting upset by McNeese State at home, but they pulled out a clutch go-ahead touchdown in the final minute to win, 31-24.

McNeese State had tied the game at 24 with just over four minutes remaining, but Armstrong had a strong finish to a somewhat sloppy day.
The Nebraska quarterback threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns against an interception on 16-of-31 passing and added 131 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Abdullah rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries while adding 96 receiving yards and a touchdown on three receptions.
Cowboys quarterback Tyler Bolfing was kept under wraps with 101 yards and an interception on 9-of-17 passing.
