4. Man United – Wayne Rooney
Without captain Rooney, United’s attack lacks any world class quality or potency. He was the club’s top scorer with just 12 league goals last season, but if the service improves this term, he could make a strong bid for the Golden Boot.
3. Tottenham Hotspur – Harry Kane
Kane scored 21 Premier League goals in 2014-15 – 18 more that Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor combined. The homegrown starlet’s individual brilliance helped Spurs beat Chelsea and Arsenal at White Hart Lane. Without him, fifth-placed Tottenham would have struggled to finish in the top half of the Premier League.
2. Chelsea – Nemanja Matic
John Terry is great, but he is on the slide. Matic, however, is just reaching his peak. The super Serbian missed two Premier League games last season and Chelsea lost both!
1. Arsenal – Alexis Sanchez
Mesut Ozil is flash and Petr Cech is a great addition, but Alexis is still Arsenal’s main man. He scored 16 Premier League goals and provided eight assists in his first season in England. If he gets a serious injury, the Gunners can kiss goodbye to any dreams of winning the title.
