Aguero has been heavily linked with a move to the La Liga giants, but the 27-year-old says his priority is to win the Champions League with Manchester City.
“I can’t stop rumours. I can’t stop people writing things,” he said. “But what I can do is repeat what I have already said, and that is that I’m very happy at Manchester City,” Aguero is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
“I have had success over the last four seasons there and I’m hungry for a lot more.
“Of course the Premier League is a big priority and we want to win it back, but it is a big dream to win the Champions League at City as well.”
Aguero signed a mammoth five-year £200k-a-week deal with City last August and finished the season as the Premier League’s top goalscorer.
The former Atletico Madrid man is currently on Copa America duty with Argentina and says he would love international teammate and good friend Lionel Messi to join him at the Etihad, but admits it’s unlikely.
“I would have loved City to sign Leo. He is my good friend and the best in the world, but his loyalty is so firm to Barcelona and you have to respect that.”
City are expected to spend big this summer have been linked with moves for Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Wilshere.
