The NRL has named Shayne Hayne and Gerard Sutton as the referee’s for Sunday’s NRL grand final between Canterbury and South Sydney.
Hayne, who will officiate his fourth grand final, has over 300 premiership games of experience.
Sutton will referee his first ever grand final.
NRL referees elite performance manager, Tony Archer, said both Hayne and Sutton had the big game experience necessary to officiate this year’s grand final.
“Shayne and Gerard are the form referees of the competition and deserve their places in the Grand Final,” Archer said.
