The AFL Coaches’ Association MVP, Gray was without doubt the surprise packet of the year.
Gray lead the competition in assists, as well as booting 34 himself.
3. Lance Franklin (Sydney Swans)
One of the most exciting players in the game, Franklin showed why he is the best forward in the game after an influential first year at the Swans.
Didn’t quite reach the heights of 2008, but without doubt this was one of his best seasons in the AFL.
