Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick continued their bitter feud as they exchanged heated words due to Logano getting into the back of Harvick’s car during the last two laps of the race.
“He’s just Kevin. He’s an instigator right? It’s the same thing he is every other time he talks to someone. It’s the same old crap. It just happens all the time. It’s no big deal,” Logano said to ESPN.
They had previously been the main subjects of an incident in 2010 where Logano and Harvick got out of their cars during a 75-lap race, and Logano looked like he had lunged toward Harvick.
Neither of them won the Sprint Unlimited race as Logano finished sixth, and Harvick finished 11th, which is a steep fall from his 2014 Sprint Cup win.
Matt Kenseth was the winner of the 2015 season-opening race.
After two Budweiser Duels on Thursday, the Daytona 500 is set to take place on Sunday, Feb. 22.
