18. Kansas City Chiefs – Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
The Chiefs cannot rely on the pass rush of Justin Houston and Tamba Hali on every play, and Brandon Flowers needs to be replaced.
19. Cleveland Browns – Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF
The Browns will look to replace Josh Gordon, and Perriman has incredible speed. If he can turn that into being a consistent deep threat, the Browns quarterback will have an easier time.
20. Philadelphia Eagles – Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
Chip Kelly strikes again with a shocking decision. The Eagles need a receiver though since Jeremy Maclin left in free agency. Strong’s upside is intriguing though, as he was a reliable 1,000-yard receiver at Arizona State, and he and Jordan Matthews could make up a solid starting duo.
21. Cincinnati Bengals – Landon Collins, S, Alabama
The Bengals need a safety badly, and Collins is easily the best safety in this year’s draft class.
22. Pittsburgh Steelers – Shane Ray, DE/OLB, Missouri
Despite speculation that he might, it’s impossible to imagine Ray falling out of the first round solely because of his top-five talent. Ray came up with 14.5 sacks in his final season at Missouri, and the Steelers defense would instantly improve with the addition of a pass rusher. James Harrison will not be around forever.
