23. Detroit Lions – Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida State
The Lions need a defensive tackle after losing Ndamukong Suh to the Miami Dolphins, and Goldman pairing up with Haloti Ngata would instantly plug up the middle and help keep the Lions run defense strong.
24. Arizona Cardinals – Malcom Brown, DE/DT, Texas
The Cardinals run a 3-4 defense that was very successful in an injury-filled 2014 season, and Brown make a perfect replacement for Darnell Dockett.
25. Carolina Panthers – D.J. Humphries, T, Florida
The Panthers still need to build a more complete offense around quarterback Cam Newton. They got on the right track by drafting wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin, but their offensive line will not be able to move forward Byron Bell or Michael Oher as their starting left tackle.
26. Baltimore Ravens – Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin
Justin Forsett had an excellent breakout season, but he is already nearing his 30s. The Ravens could use depth behind Forsett after losing Bernard Pierce, and Gordon would make a perfect complement and eventual replacement.
27. Dallas Cowboys – Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
The Cowboys have never been a team to shy away from character concerns, and they need to upgrade their pass defense with Orlando Scandrick as their best cornerback. Morris Claiborne has been nothing but a bust, but the Cowboys will try again with an LSU cornerback.
