3. Arik Armstead, Oregon
At 6’7″ Armstead will be one of the tallest players onto the field for the first time. His size alone will help him win many matchups against offensive linemen that are anywhere from 3 to 4 inches smaller than him. Though Armstead may be a few pounds short of being able to completely outsize foes, he is a great run stopper and has a high-ceiling to develop his pass rushing skills.
Knowing Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, he’ll be chomping at the bit to get another star from the school where he built a dynasty, but it’s hard to imagine someone with as much raw talent as Armstead going past more than a dozen teams without somebody grabbing him.
