2. Benardrick McKinney, Mississippi State
McKinney offers potential as a starting inside linebacker after proving to be a playmaker in his final season at Mississippi State, as he came up with 71 tackles, eight tackles for loss and three sacks. The linebacker offers the ability to defend the pass and the run, and he can also play from the outside.
His versatility will be a plus for his suitors, and he also has a chance of breaking through to the first round. However, it seems likely that he will fall to the second round. His resume doesn’t lie though as he became a second-team All-American and first-team All-SEC linebacker in 2014.
Projection: Late 1st round-early 2nd round
