Italian side will target Malmo striker Markus Rosenberg.

Rosenberg has notched a couple of strikers for Malmo in the Champions League group stage this season, notably against Olympiakos in Sweden, but bringing in the former Ajax man as a replacement for the talented Icardi is an indication of Inter’s fall from grace since winning the Champions League under Jose Mourinho.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move for Icardi after it emerged that Inter could be forced to sell to ensure compliance with Financial Fair Play regulations – but it is Chelsea who look to secure the former Sampdoria striker.
