Manchester United are drawing even closer to signing Barcelona winger Pedro, as a £21.5m deal is expected to be completed within the next few days.
According to the Daily Star, Pedro has rejected interest from Manchester City in favour of a move to Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old winger has expressed his desire to leave Spain, as his playing time was reduced at Barcelona.
The Spanish international only made 15 starts for Barcelona during its treble-winning season.
He still managed to score 11 goals in 50 appearances though, demonstrating that he still has the ability to be play at the top level when handed the opportunity.
Man United boss Louis van Gaal has been looking to bolster his attacking stocks, and Pedro offers the ability to play as both as a striker or a winger.
The Red Devils do not have any bona fide goalscoring threats aside from striker Wayne Rooney, so the addition of Pedro can only help them.
