Oscar had a decent season with Chelsea, but transfer rumors have the folks at Stamford Bridge concerned. Will Oscar rejoin the team this season?
Chelsea attacker Oscar has been the subject of recent rumors regarding a possible move to Serie A or Ligue 1, so the World Cup All-Star decided to make his intentions clear.
According to the Daily Star, Oscar made it clear in no uncertain terms that he will be staying at Stamford Bridge and has no intentions of Juventus or Paris Saint-Germain on a transfer. The Daily star noted that recent reports indicated that the Serie A champs as well as the Ligue 1 champs were willing to offer upwards of £20 million for the 23-year-old Brazilian superstar.
“I will be staying at Chelsea,” Oscar said. “The aim for this season is to win as many titles as possible.”
Oscar has 18 goals in 94 appearances for Chelsea since joining the club out of Internacional on a £25 million transfer back in 2012. He was named to the FIFA World Cup All-Star Team in 2014 after a stellar tournament with Brazil and has won two Chelsea Goal of the Season awards.
