Falcao has been heavily linked with a loan deal at Stamford Bridge, and The Daily Mail reports the deal will be completed within the two weeks.
The Colombian will provide competition to number one striker Diego Costa despite enduring a disappointing season on loan with Manchester United last term.
Falcao scored just four goals for the Red Devils during his one-season stay at Old Trafford, however Jose Mourinho has publicly commented that he wants to help the 29-year-old return to the kind of form that saw him become one of Europe’s most feared strikers during his time at Atletico Madrid and FC Porto.
With Didier Drogba set to leave the Blues this summer, Mourinho is looking to bolster his attack as Chelsea look to defend its Premier League crown.
