Quarterback Jameis Winston is widely favored to be selected first overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he has been unable to avoid criticism.

In addition to his rape allegations and concerns about taking care of the ball, his weight became the source of concern and jokes on the Internet when a shirtless picture of him was posted.
It was at an unfavorable angle and made him appear to have a gut, similar to when Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy had a “fat picture” of him posted on Twitter during training camp when he was a rookie.
Former New York Giants quarterback Jared Lorenzen weighed in on Winston supposedly being overweight, and his opinion is sure to receive extra attention since he is over 300 pounds.
Lorenzen went on to say that Winston is no JaMarcus Russell, who is known for being arguably the biggest bust in NFL history due to being overweight and severely underperforming.
Winston weighs 227 pounds, which can be considered overweight for a quarterback, but he has shown no signs of being out of shape and put together a flawless Pro Day performance.
