The 24-year-old did not see much playing time for the Red Devils last season, as he only made 11 appearances.
Man United boss Louis van Gaal is reportedly more than willing to see Rafael leave Old Trafford, as the Red Devils are attempting a transfer spending spree.
The Brazilian international is in luck if he does in fact leave Old Trafford, as Galatasaray are interested in landing him.
Rafael is also drawing interest from Serie A clubs Napoli and Fiorentina, so it appears inevitable that Man United will let their young defender go.
Man United remain confident in their ability to take advantage of their £150m budget as they hope to continue fixing their leaky defense.
