Michigan – The Wolverines look like a dumpster fire right now: 4 turnovers against Utah AND the team was forced to bench star QB Devon Gardner – not that it ultimately did them any good as they were humiliated 26-10.
Alabama – The only team on this list with a win, but the Crimson Tide has not played with the kind of dominating fire that won them numerous SEC and National titles. WR Amari Cooper has been the only source of offensive domination – when the Crimson Tide plays the tougher SEC teams, they may be exposed.
LSU – Despite the final score, LSU was thoroughly dominated by Mississippi State. With 4 more games on the schedule against top 10 teams, LSU’s chances of winning the SEC West title may have gone up in smoke.
Missouri – Losing to Indiana may not ultimately affect their ability to win the SEC East title, especially if they can rebound against top contenders South Carolina and Georgia, but as far as contending for the National title, that ship may have sailed unfortunately.
Clemson – Never in college football has a team been given so many chances to take a commanding lead over a No. 1 ranked team and come away with virtually nothing. Two missed FGs, fumbles, and virtually everything else happened to let the Clemson Tigers take defeat from the jaws of victory against a vulnerable FSU team.
