1. Wayne Rooney is back amongst the goals
The goal-drought is finally over as his hat-trick in Belgium would have come as a huge relief for both Rooney and Van Gaal.
Whether or not he backs that up with more goals domestically remains to be seen, but it has to have felt good for Rooney to find the net which he will hope will boost his confidence moving forward.
