Phew! That was good, wasn’t it?
The first weekend of Premier League football in the 2015-16 season is over, after 27 goals were struck and many more talking points created across nine matches.
Here are six things we learned on Saturday and Sunday…

6. Watford won’t sit back…
The Hornets notched 91 goals in 46 Championship games last season. There had been suggestions that they might go a bit more defensive following there promotion, but not a bit of it. The Premier League new boys attacked Everton from the off, rattling the Toffees and registering 11 shots in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
5. New balls are ugly…
Nike’s new Premier League footballs are pretty horrendous, aren’t they?
Seriously, they look like the sort of rubbish we used to kick about at school on a bad day. And we were poor!
