Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has been pursued by Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.
However, their dreams of signing him may be dashed as Napoli have offered their ace a new contract, according to The Express.
This marks a major turn of events, as Higuain was booed by Napoli fans toward the end of the 2014-15 Serie A season.
It will also be extremely difficult for any Premier League club to convince Napoli to sell their star striker.
They have insisted that Higuain will not leave unless his £65m release clause is met.
Although the 27-year-old has a hefty release clause attached to him, Napoli have made it clear that they want him to return.
The Argentine international scored 29 goals for Napoli in 56 appearances last season, and has totalled 53 goals throughout his two-year stint with Napoli.
Higuain has yet to make his Premier League debut though, and it may never happen if Napoli continue to work hard to retain him.
