Is the Dutchman the new Nigel Quashie? Fer has gone down with Norwich and QPR in successive seasons, but that does not seem to have deterred Dick Advocaat from trying to bring him to Sunderland, and the Black Cats will try to rush him in before the trip to Leicester City on Saturday.
