Burnley, Middlesbrough and Wigan all want to take Bamford on-loan.
Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford is proving to be quite the popular striker as Burnley, Middlesbrough and Wigan Athletic all fight to take the 20-year-old on loan, according to the Mirror.
Bamford is currently on-loan at MK Dons and has impressed so much that the forward was named League One Player of the Month for October.
The deal expires on January 5 however and as desperate as the Dons are to extend it, the Blues want the starlet to step up to Championship level.
Boro are thought to be favourites as their new manager Aitor Karanka worked with Jose Mourinho when the 50-year-old was in charge of Real Madrid.
This is despite the fact that Wigan are among the promotion favourites despite an indifferent start to the season and Burnley are among the early league leaders.
Bamford is a product of the Nottingham Forest youth academy and played two games for the club before a transfer to Stamford Bridge in January 2012.
Despite having not played a game for Mourinho’s team the England under-21 international has greatly impressed with the Dons and has 17 goals in just 36 appearances.
