Midfield star comes to Australia after a solid season in Serie B.
Western Sydney Wanderers have signed Brazilian midfielder Vitor Saba on a two-year contract, the A-League club said on Friday.
Saba, 23, joins the Wanderers off the back of a strong year with Brescia Calcio in Italy’s Serie B.
He made made 33 appearances in Serie B and two in the Coppa Italia scoring three goals.
“We have been monitoring Vitor since our inception and we’re very happy to have him join the Wanderers in our third season,” Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said.
“He is a young, versatile and attack-minded player and suits our style of play, our club culture and he brings a certain X-factor to the team.”
