The in-form Gunners take on Reading this weekend in the FA Cup semi-final, as they look to take a step closer to defending their title from last season, and the Wales international has insisted that they haven’t ruled out catching up with Chelsea just yet.
Chelsea currently remain seven points clear of Arsene Wenger’s men, but face a tough clash with Manchester United this weekend, and have been weakened considerably without top scorer Diego Costa.
And should United do the Gunners a favour, it will all be in their own hands as they take on the Blues next week.
And Ramsey believes they have more than enough to overtake the Stamford Bridge giants.
“Yes, that (the Double) is still a possibility. We are just trying to win our remaining games. We are on a fantastic winning run at the moment and that’s all we want to keep on doing,” he said.
“It’s going to be difficult – Chelsea will have to slip up a few times for us to catch them- but it’s still possible. You can’t rule it out.
“When you have that momentum, it is still possible. Even though it will be difficult, we have to win our remaining games and see where that leaves us.
“We’ve really stuck by each other, worked hard for each other and we want another feeling like we had last season. So we do definitely push ourselves as a team.
“This season we didn’t start too well, it was a bit interrupted, but the second half of the season we have been really good and consistent in our performances.
“I feel we are very close.”
