Injured NFL superstar hints at when he might return to the line-up.
Green Bay Packers superstar Aaron Rodgers kept his cards close to his chest when he was asked again about a return date to full playing duties.
Rogers split practice snaps with his full-in Matt Flynn, who has deputised for Rodgers after he broke his collarbone more than 40 days ago against the Chicago Bears.
Despite looking as though he was not held back by the injury, Rodgers said very little about if he was a chance to play this weekend.
“I have a good sense of what’s going to happen,” Rodgers said.
The star play-caller will need to pass one more round of medical clearances on Friday before he is able to suit up for action this weekend.
Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy remained cautious of signalling Rodgers would be a starter this weekend, as the Packers look to end their season on a high, with their playoff chances going down along with Rodgers.
“I’ll have an announcement for you tomorrow,” McCarthy said Thursday. “Aaron was a limited participant today, and I thought he looked very good.”
“You wanted to know how he looks; he looks good, he’s a limited practice participant. He hasn’t been medically cleared.”
