Rossoneri desperate to qualify for the group stages.
AC Milan will be without both Robinho and Mattia De Sciglio as they prepare for the first leg of their Champions League play-off clash with PSV on Tuesday night.
The Rossoneri have had a number of injury concerns during pre-season training, which led them to sign Matias Silvestre from city rivals Inter on a season-long loan to provide cover.
While Philippe Mexes has been included in the squad, fellow defender De Sciglio misses out having suffered a problem after the Confederations Cup.
Meanwhile, Robinho will also miss out after failing to recover from a groin injury he picked up against Valencia last month, which will give coach Massimiliano Allegri something to think about with his options in attack.
However, the Serie A giants have been handed a major boost with the news that Mario Balotelli has been passed fit and will lead the line for the side when they travel to Eindhoven on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old had been struggling with a muscle injury which he picked up against the Los Angeles Galaxy earlier this month, but he appears to have made a successful recovery.
Their opponents have been in fine form so far in the Eredivisie, winning all three of their opening games while Milan have yet to start their Serie A campaign.
Despite their efforts in pre-season, it remains a nervy time for the Rossoneri, who despite being expected to win will have to counter the fact that they are behind their opponents in terms of fitness levels.
