Campbell impressed Milan boss at the World Cup.
Inside Futbol reports that Italian side AC Milan are keen on signing 22-year old Arsenal forward Joel Campbell.
The Costa Rica international has been tracked by Milan since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where he starred for his nation.
Milan have already sounded the Gunners out about their interest in the youngster, but it remains to be seen whether the North Londoners will sell their 2011 acquisition.
Arsene Wenger was seemingly impressed with the progress Campbell had made in his three loan spells away at Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos, and hinted that he would give the youngster a chance to prove himself at the Emirates Stadium this season.
Wenger suggested that the Costa Rican would be part of his pre-season plans, but he did not feature in their first pre-season fixture against Boreham Wood last week.
There have been suggestions that Wenger has had a change of plans and might look to cash in on Campbell, and the Rossoneri are ready to swoop.
