Reports in the Daily Mirror carry brief quotes from the England international, who struggled with injury at the start of the season and has taken time to regain form and fitness.
However, Lallana has looked sharp, starting Liverpool’s last three games, and feels operating beside Raheem Sterling in boss Brendan Rodgers’ new 3-4-3 formation suits him.
“I’m enjoying being on the pitch and playing in the system,” he said. “I think it’s working. I feel I’m becoming a bit more relaxed on the pitch now, and a relaxed Adam Lallana is probably when you’ll see the best of me.”
The 26-year-old has made 22 appearances for his new club so far this season, scoring twice – against West Brom and Leicester – but now the versatile midfielder is aiming to push on and prove his worth to Brendan Rodgers’ side.
