The Socceroos winger is heading to the Hindmarsh Stadium for the 2013/14 campaign.
Adelaide United new-boy Michael Zullo has expressed his gratitude to the club’s fans after they afforded him a warm welcome.
Zullo is moving to the Hindmarsh Stadium from Eredivisie side FC Utrecht after penning a one-year deal and returns to the A-League having spent three seasons with Brisbane Roar, winning the 2009/10 championship, before departing for Europe.
With the news that the 24-year-old had become head coach Josep Gombau’s latest offseason recruit, supporters took to their twitter accounts to express their delight at his arrival as the player revealed he was en-route to Adelaide.
Finally on my way to Adelaide! So excited to have joined @adelutd_fc on loan. Looking forward to a great season this year in the @ALeague.
