Minnesota superstar to play on despite shock death of his two-year-old son.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has given every indication he is preparing to play against the Carolina Panthers in week six of the NFL season.
Just days after his two-year-old son was allegedly beaten to death, Peterson will not take any emotional leave as he looks to help get his side’s second win of the season.
ESPN reported a source within the Vikings said they did not expect Peterson’s status to change between now and kick-off.
There’s no doubt he’s going to play,” the source said. “It’s not going to happen where Adrian Peterson is not going to suit up for that game.”
Joesph Patterson, 27, was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery and was ordered to front court this Friday and pay a cash bond of $750,000.
Thank you to my family, my fans and fans of other teams for their support.
