The NFL announced its three players of the week in the AFC for Week 4 of the 2014 NFL season.
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week, Buffalo Bills DT Marcell Dareus was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week, and Cleveland Browns LB Tank Carder was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Thomas won by recording 8 catches for 226 yards and two TDs (86 yards and 31 yards) against the Arizona Cardinals after struggling for a month with a foot injury.
Dareus recorded 3 sacks, 5 tackles and a forced fumble in a Bills win over the favored Detroit Lions.
Carder won the Special Teams award for his role in the Browns record-setting comeback victory on the road against the Tennessee Titans with a blocked punt that resulted in a safety and a critical special teams tackle.
