The AFL Players Association have released a squad of 45 candidates all in contention to make the organisation’s ’22Under22′ team – a selection of the 22 best players under 22 years old.
The squad was selected by a nine-member panel led by president Luke Ball, and fans have the opportunity to decide the final 22 by voting on Facebook and Twitter.
Every club has a nominee in the 45-man squad, with Gold Coast leading the way with eight.
Richmond, Melbourne, West Coast, Carlton, Fremantle, Geelong and Sydney have just one each.
