Carlton will use Mitch Robinson as trade bait, according to AFL.com.au
Carlton have officially told hard-nut Mitch Robinson that they will seek to trade him, report AFL.com.au.
Robinson’s future has been heavily questioned after after his involvement in 5am Melbourne CBD brawl last month that involved team-mate Jeff Garlett.
The 25-year-old is out-of-contract and it is understood Carlton told him he would be used as trade bait during the club’s end of season interview.
AFL.com.au report there has been interest from rival AFL clubs for the services of the forward.
Robinson suffered a broken eye socket in a brawl that ruled him out of the rest of the 2014 season.
The Tasmanian was not charged for the incident, however he was fined $5000 by the club.
Garlett was charged with affray and fined $2500 by the Blues.
