Free agent James Frawley could be set for a move to Fremantle, with the Melbourne defender believed to have met with Dockers officials in the past 48 hours.
The West Australian reports that the 25-year-old flew to Perth on Saturday afternoon, just hours before the Dockers were knocked out of the AFL finals by Port Adelaide.
Reports say Frawley was spotted arriving at Perth Airport with girlfriend Kasey Todd, and it is believed the 25-year-old visited the club’s headquarters at Fremantle Oval.
The out-of-contract Demon is yet to make an announcement on his playing future, but the Dockers face stiff competition with Geelong coach Chris Scott admitting the Cats are targeting the 2010 All-Australian.
With defender Luke McPharlin expected to retire, the capture of the 193cm Frawley would be a huge boost for Fremantle’s 2015 premiership aspirations.
