Chelsea transfer news
The young Belgium international has reportedly emerged as a top target for Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini in the new year as they are keen to bolster their ranks to keep the pace with current league leaders Chelsea.
City skipper Vincent Kompany called on his compatriot to join him at the Etihad next month, but agent Patrick de Koster has reiterated his client’s commitment to Wolfsburg.
“De Bruyne has so far had a great season with Wolfsburg and it is normal that other teams are watching him, but there’s been no contact,” he said.
“His intention is to remain with his current club.”
