It looks like the messy divorce between David de Gea and Louis van Gaal is about to be finalized.
With the transfer window nearly closed, Man United may finally be putting an end to the David de Gea transfer saga.
According to the Metro, Man United have reached a transfer deal with Real Madrid to send the 24-year-old goalkeeper to the La Liga outfit for £25.5 million.
The Metro reported that Man United are trying to see if they can land Keylor Navas – the current Real Madrid stopper – as a replacement.
Rumors had been circulating for months that Real Madrid were making a move for the PFA Goalkeeper of the Year, with members of David de Gea’s inner-circle even publicly suggesting that a deal was already done.
De Gea has not been active for a single Man United fixture since the pre-season. Summer pickup Sergio Romero record three straight clean sheets to start the season before the Red Devils lost 2-1 on the road against Swansea City.
