Wojciech Szczesny has found himself at the bottom of the pile of Arsenal goalkeepers.
According to the Daily Star, he is now being pursued by Ajax, who fear that they will soon be forced to sell Jasper Cillessen.
Cillessen continues to be targeted by Manchester United, and the Dutch giants are waiting for a deal with the Red Devils to go through before they jump on Szczesny.
However, this is somewhat of a merry-go-round scenario, as United still have yet to officially lose current goalkeeper David de Gea to Real Madrid.
De Gea leaving for Real Madrid seems to be imminent, though, so Szczesny may find himself a golden opportunity to resume his career as a first-choice stopper.
The Pole is looking for a fresh start after falling out of favour at the Emirates Stadium, as his poor performance and ill-discipline led to Arsene Wenger switching to David Ospina.
The Gunners have also signed Chelsea legend Petr Cech to create a logjam in the goalkeeper position.
