Find out how Sanchez and the rest of his Arsenal teammates fared in our player assessment below:
GK: Petr Cech 6/10
Not the busy afternoon that the veteran may have expected, but he swept up and did what he had to do with minimal fuss and made a crucial stop to deny Anthony Martial in the first half.
DF: Hector Bellerin – 6/10
Full of energy and pace as usual to always emerge as an option down the right flank for the Gunners.
DF: Gabriel – 6/10
While his defensive partner keeps changing due to injuries, the Brazilian defender remained composed in the second half as United tried to fight back.
DF: Per Mertesacker – 6/10
Similar to Gabriel in that Arsenal’s offensive performance in the first half made his role redundant. However, kept things tight at the back thereafter.
DF: Nacho Monreal – 6/10
A steadying presence down the left and, although the Spaniard may not offer anything extravagant, he does his job well.
